Look For Quoted Text When Trying To Recover Email

If you looked in the trash and other folders, but cannot find your email, you may have to consider it is gone. If you save your sent emails in a folder, you can look through there to see if you quoted the missing email in a reply. You can recover email information that way, but that is a long shot. To be safe in the future, you may want to set your account to automatically quote the email you reply to and to save a copy of each one you send. Though that won’t always work, it can help you find something that appears to be missing for some reason or another.
